New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the LaVille Lancers (Lakeville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. New Prairie will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IN).

The Cherokees now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Marquette Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 26.
