South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Eastern Wayne Warriors (Goldsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. South Lenoir will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC).
The Rebels now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Farmville Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. North Duplin will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 0-0 non-league Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-0.
