Iowa High School Volleyball - Akron-Westfield edged by West Lyon

The West Lyon Wildcats held off the visiting Akron-Westfield Westerners volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Lyon for a Siouxland test on Thursday, August 24.
The Westerners (1-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's (Remsen, IA). The Hawks enter the War Eagle game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, St. Mary's was nudged by River Valley (Correctionville, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
