The Highland Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hoxie Mustangs to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Rebels now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trumann for a 4A Northeast game on Thursday, August 24. Highland will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wynne (Wynne, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats enter the 3A Northeast game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Walnut Ridge gained a win over Salem (Salem, AR), 3-0, in a non-league game.
