North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Alamance over Providence Grove

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) and the visiting Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), saw Southern Alamance's volleyball squad beat Providence Grove by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Southern Alamance upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to play the Wildcats in a DAC-VII 4A bout on Thursday, August 24. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-5. East Chapel Hill lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)

The Patriots now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host East Davidson for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24. Providence Grove will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
