The Simi Valley Pioneers topped the host Rio Mesa Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Simi Valley will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 4-1.
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). The Dons enter the Channel test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Santa Barbara was knocked off by Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
