The Starmount Rams volleyball team (Boonville, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC)

The Greyhounds (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors enter the Western Foothills 3A challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, West Iredell defeated North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams encounter the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Starmount will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).
