California High School Volleyball - Mater Dei Catholic tips El Capitan

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the El Capitan Vaqueros.
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Vaqueros meet the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 26. El Capitan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA).
