The Wasilla Warriors flag football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Chugiak Mustangs to 12 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colony for a Northern Lights test on Tuesday, August 27. Wasilla will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 48-6 league loss to North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Chugiak drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to clash with the Wolves in a Cook Inlet test on Saturday, August 24. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-1. Eagle River won 13-7 in their recent league test against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
