Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Becker Bulldogs (Becker, MN) and the visiting Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), saw Becker's soccer squad overwhelm Apollo by a count of 14-1.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN). The Stars enter the Class A Section 6 battle with a 0-0 record.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a Class A Section 8 battle, on Tuesday, August 27. Apollo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Sabres enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 league loss to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN).
