The Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN), 10-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Bees now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Watertown for a AA District 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 27. Upperman will encounter a Purple Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over White County (Sparta, TN). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Monterey moves to 0-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to York Institute (Jamestown, TN) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 6. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
