In Thursday's non-league contest, the Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT) soccer team edged the host Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Utes battle the Timpanogos Timberwolves (Orem, UT) in a 4A Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Uintah will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Timberwolves enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT).

The Ravens (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
