With the win, Burns advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Crest (Shelby, NC) to battle the Chargers in a non-league game on Thursday, August 29. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, East Lincoln overwhelmed Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 42-6, in a non-league game.
