Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 20-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Oak Grove advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Grizzlies host West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 1-0. West Forsyth won 45-20 in their recent non-league battle against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)

The Cowboys now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host R.J. Reynolds for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. Southwest Guilford will play a Demons team coming off a 40-14 non-league loss to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Demons record now stands at 0-1.
