The Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) football tipped the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC), 14-7 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Forest for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Seventy-First will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Richmond drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Butler (Matthews, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
