North Carolina High School Volleyball - St. Stephens tips South Caldwell

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), observed St. Stephens's volleyball team hold off South Caldwell by a count of 2-1.
The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, North Lincoln got by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Spartans battle the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 27. South Caldwell will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.
