The Covenant Day Lions soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Providence Panthers to 2 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte Latin for a NCISAA Charlotte bout on Tuesday, August 27. Covenant Day will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.
