Oklahoma High School Softball - Ringling gets by Verden

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Ringling Blue Devils (Ringling, OK) and the visiting Verden Tigers (Verden, OK), observed Ringling's softball team get by Verden by a tally of 12-11.
The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Velma-Alma (Velma, OK). The Comets go into the Class A bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Velma-Alma tipped Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK), 24-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Hollis Tigers (Hollis, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 23. Verden will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 7-6 league loss to Carnegie (Carnegie, OK).
