The Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bearcats now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Colleyville Heritage for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 22. Aledo will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Coronado drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Americas (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Trail Blazers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 27.
