The Southwestern Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Boyle County Rebels to 2 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Pulaski County for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. Southwestern will play a Maroons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Boyle County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Franklin County (Frankfort, KY) to play the Flyers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 28. The Flyers come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Franklin County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY)
