The Bradwell Institute Tigers edged the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers face the Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) in a 5A Area 1 game, on Tuesday, August 27. Bradwell Institute will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Grovetown (Grovetown, GA).
The Yellow Jackets (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 11-1 record. In their last game, Pierce County nudged Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
