North Carolina High School Volleyball - Burlington Christian Academy crushed by Winston-Salem Christian

In Thursday's non-league match, the Winston-Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host Burlington Christian Academy Royals (Burlington, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 26. Winston-Salem Christian will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Firebirds enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC).

The Royals (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Clover Garden School notched a victory over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
