The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Eastside Christian Eagles to 0 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cubs now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Academy for Academic Excellence for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 27. California School for the Deaf-Riverside will play a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Silver Valley (Yermo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Eastside Christian drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Monday, August 26. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 7-0. Linfield Christian won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Elsinore (Wildomar, CA)
