Texas High School Volleyball - Coronado tips Permian

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Coronado Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Permian Panthers.

The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Holmes was tipped by Jay (San Antonio, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Permian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
