Utah High School Volleyball - Gunnison Valley over Maeser Prep Academy

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT) and the host Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT), observed Gunnison Valley's volleyball team top Maeser Prep Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Beaver (Beaver, UT). The Beavers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Beaver notched a victory over Piute (Junction, UT), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Intermountain Christian Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Maeser Prep Academy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Waterford (Sandy, UT).
