Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) and the visiting PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), observed Hoover's volleyball team top PikeView by a tally of 2-0.

The Huskies (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Charleston Catholic beat Riverside (Belle, WV), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 22. PikeView will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
