The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes volleyball squad (Monroe, GA), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA)

With the win, Oglethorpe County improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Patriots host Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 11-6.

The Purple Hurricanes now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shiloh for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27. Monroe Area will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Generals record now stands at 10-8.
