In Friday's non-league battle, the host Bagdad Sultans football team scored a tight 1-0 win over the El Capitan Eagles.
With the win, Bagdad advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sultans travel to Red Rock (Sedona, AZ) to play the Scorpions in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Scorpions go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Red Rock lost 36-0 in their recent non-league match against Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ)
