The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils held off the host Clearfield Bison football squad by a count of 28-21 in Friday's league test.
The Blue Devils now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop McCort for a Laurel Highlands test on Friday, August 29. Bellwood-Antis will meet a Crushers squad coming off a 39-7 league win over Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Crushers record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Clearfield moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bison travel to Bedford (Bedford, PA) to face the Bisons in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Friday, August 29. The Bisons go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bedford lost 39-7 in their recent league challenge against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA)
