In Friday's non-league match, the host Cornell Raiders football squad scored a good 35-22 triumph over the Brashear Bulls.

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against California (Coal Center, PA). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, California defeated Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA), 44-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bulls meet the Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Brashear will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Tornado come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 32-26 non-league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).
