In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Crest Chargers football squad scored a decisive 55-14 triumph over the Burns Bulldogs.

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Shelby was routed by Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 30-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Burns will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
