The Central Davidson Spartans were victorious over the host Carson Cougars football team by a score of 15-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Central Davidson will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Camels come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 55-0 non-league loss to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC).

With the defeat, Carson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Mount Pleasant won 27-16 in their recent non-league test against Concord (Concord, NC)
