    The Centennial Golden Hawks football team (Bakersfield, CA), dropped 41-20 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA)

    The Rangers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Clovis North gained a win over San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA), 42-14, in a non-league contest.

    Coming up next, the Golden Hawks battle the Moorpark Musketeers (Moorpark, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Centennial will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Musketeers enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 44-13 non-league win over Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA).
