Pennsylvania High School Football - Mifflin County smashes Central Mountain

August 22, 2025: Lewistown, PA 17044

The Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) football trounced the visiting Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), 42-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Northern York for a Mid-Penn - Keystone outing on Friday, August 29. Mifflin County will clash with a Polar Bears squad coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Central Mountain moves to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bloomsburg won 30-10 in their recent non-league bout against Danville (Danville, PA)
