Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Central Valley Christian Cavaliers (Visalia, CA), 48-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Clovis advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars host Salinas (Salinas, CA) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league match on Friday, August 29. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 0-0.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers confront the Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Central Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 54-28 non-league win over El Diamante (Visalia, CA).
