The Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) football edged the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 32-27 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Clovis will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 52-12 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).

The Scorpions (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Durango (Durango, CO). The Demons come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Durango was nipped by Montrose (Montrose, CO), 35-14, in a non-league outing.
