Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 28-13 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Connellsville advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Meadville (Meadville, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Meadville lost 29-22 in their recent non-league battle against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Greater Latrobe will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 42-13 non-league win over Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA).
