California High School Football - Contreras nudges Diego Rivera

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Contreras Cobras football squad scored a close 13-12 triumph over the Diego Rivera Huskies.

The Cobras (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Lobos go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Rancho Dominguez was tipped by Compton (Compton, CA), 41-0, in a non-league battle.

The Huskies now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Santee for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Diego Rivera will play a Falcons team coming off a 40-24 non-league win over Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
