Georgia High School Football - Coosa Christian loses to Pierce County

The Coosa Christian Conquerors football squad (Gadsden, AL), was outscored 20-7 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA)

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Brantley County was outscored by Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA), 19-6, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Conquerors encounter the Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 29. Coosa Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 22-14 non-league win over Pelham (Pelham, AL).
