Tennessee High School Football - West Greene thwarted by Cosby

Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN), 34-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cosby improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Greenback (Greenback, TN) to meet the Cherokees in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Cherokees come into the test with a record of 0-1. Greenback lost 30-0 in their recent non-league test against Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN)

With the defeat, West Greene drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to North Greene (Greeneville, TN) to meet the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. North Greene lost 39-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN)
