The CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Peoples Baptist Academy Knights to 6 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Ground Baptist Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. CrossPointe Christian Academy will face a Stallions team coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Covington Academy (Covington, GA). The Stallions record now stands at 1-0.
The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kings Way Christian School (Douglasville, GA). The Crusaders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Kings Way Christian School was ripped by Hearts Academy (Powder Springs, GA), 14-8, in a league challenge.
