Pennsylvania High School Football - Keystone Oaks thwarted by Deer Lakes

Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA), 23-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Deer Lakes advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lancers host South Park (South Park, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-0. South Park won 33-26 in their recent non-league match against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA)

Coming up next, the Golden Eagles confront the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Keystone Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 38-20 non-league win over Freedom Area (Freedom, PA).
