    The Sand Creek Scorpions walloped the visiting Denver East Angels football team by a score of 55-13 in Friday's non-league test.

    The Scorpions now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a non-league test on Friday, August 29.

    With the defeat, Denver East drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Angels host Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO) to meet the Bison in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Bison come into the test with a record of 0-1. Vista PEAK Prep lost 42-14 in their recent non-league test against Grandview (Aurora, CO)
