The Liberty Christian Prep Lions walloped the visiting Eastland Christian Hurricanes football team by a score of 42-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL) in a Sunshine State - Bay (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, August 29. Liberty Christian Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 34-6 non-league win over Saint Francis Catholic Academy (Gainesville, FL).

The Hurricanes (0-1) will now prepare for their test against All Saints' Academy (Winter Haven, FL). The Saints come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, All Saints' Academy triumphed over The Classical Academy of Sarasota (Sarasota, FL), 40-6, in a non-league test.
