The Grayson County Cougars football team scored 39 points and held the host Edmonson County Wildcats to 15 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Grayson County will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 21-14 non-league loss to Washington County (Springfield, KY).

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Clinton County was defeated by Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN), 42-32, in a non-league test.
