California High School Football - Hoover falls to El Capitan

The El Capitan Gauchos were winner over the visiting Hoover Patriots football squad by a margin of 27-13 in Friday's non-league test.

The Gauchos now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. El Capitan will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 28-27 non-league loss to Pitman (Turlock, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Hoover drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA) to meet the Saints in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Santa Maria lost 56-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Righetti (Santa Maria, CA)
