In Friday's non-league game, the Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) football team were victorious over the visiting Elberta Warriors (Elberta, AL), by a margin of 34-14.

The Makos now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Citronelle for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Orange Beach will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Millry (Millry, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Elberta drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL) to face the Golden Bears in a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. The Golden Bears enter the game with a record of 1-0. Robertsdale won 31-20 in their recent non-league game against LeFlore (Mobile, AL)
