    • California High School Football - Garces Memorial can't hold off Paraclete

    The Paraclete Spirits got by the visiting Garces Memorial Rams football team by a score of 35-28 in Friday's non-league challenge.

    In their next game, the Spirits play the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Paraclete will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Royals go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 35-0 non-league win over Del Sol (Oxnard, CA).

    The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Bearcats come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Paso Robles was nipped by Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA), 24-14, in a non-league test.
