Kentucky High School Football - Graves County overwhelmed by Mayfield

In Friday's non-league game, the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) football squad trounced the visiting Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY), by a margin of 40-7.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian County for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Mayfield will clash with a Colonels squad coming off a 48-20 non-league loss to Northeast (Clarksville, TN). The Colonels record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Graves County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY) to clash with the Blue Tornado in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Blue Tornado come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Paducah Tilghman won 63-28 in their recent non-league game against McCracken County (Paducah, KY)
