Georgia High School Football - Sumter County defeats Griffin

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Sumter County Panthers football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the Griffin Bears.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Pike County was outscored by Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 28-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Griffin will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
